Accommodations on Campus
Student Residences are located throughout
Rockport - and include dorms, motel rooms and student homes. Apartments
and private rooms in local homes are also available. There are accommodations
"on-campus" for around 100 students in a combination of
singles, doubles and a few triple rooms. Both shared and private
bathrooms are available. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served
basis. You may request a single, double or dorm room in a particular
price range. If your preference is full, our Housing Department
will call to discuss your options. A housing deposit of $200 is
required at the time you register to hold your preference in accommodations.
This $200 deposit will be converted to a damage deposit when you
arrive. This deposit will be returned five days after the close
of the term, or applied to your next term, provided your room has
been left in the condition in which you found it. We will deduct
the costs for cleaning and repairs should these be warranted.

Dining at the College
Good, wholesome, tasty food and a
family atmosphere are on the menu at The Homestead. The conservatory
environment at Rockport College includes dining together. It is
over meals that students, faculty and guests share the day's discoveries
and discuss issues that were not raised in class. Dining together
is a tradition at the dining hall, located on campus in the New
Imaging Center. The meals are hearty, ample and served buffet style
in a delightful setting. In the early fall and late spring, an outdoor
patio is covered with a tent for dining, and there is an indoor
dining hall when the weather turns chilly.
Breakfast includes juices, hot and cold cereals, homemade granola,
muffins and pastries, and fresh fruit salad. Lunch includes a salad,
hot and cold entree, sandwiches, and desserts. Dinner includes poultry
and fish dishes, occasional meat entree and various rice, pasta
and potato dishes, hot and cold vegetables and a salad bowl. Vegetarian
entree are provided. Special diets can be accommodated if you notify
our chef of your needs and restrictions prior to arrival. Meals
are served daily, Sunday dinner though Saturday lunch.
