At Rockport College, we are all active professionals in our own fields. Teaching for us is a privilege that balances our working time with a chance to share what we have learned.
The conservatory atmosphere at Rockport College encourages a stimulating learning environment. It supports ideas and creativity with caring and trust. The students are challenged and grow through vigorous discussion and rigorous critiques. We expect excellence and an aptitude for personal resilience and we work to develop these traits. Our aim is to prepare the students for a profession and for their lives.
This school has a cooperative community
of easily accessible teachers. We have worked to design an enriched
educational context which nurtures and fosters the development of
aesthetic intelligence and artistic sensibilities. Visually gifted
students do well in this responsive framework. Our classrooms are
laboratories of experiment and dialogue and we work to engage each
student's individual intellect and imagination.
The students attracted to this college are bright, challenging and courageous. They form strong bonds to each other and to this faculty. We would like to thank them. They are always a pleasure to teach and to know.
